Group blog (Final Task)

Before starting this group blog, I thought I was going work with a partner or a few group mates, but I'm not so sure that idea would work the best. I also don't know too many people in my class that would want to work with me. The last time I decided I wanted to work in a group, our group weren't able to get each other's names before our group blog assignment for our music video assignment  was due. In the end, I had to finish the group blog assignment alone, which at the time I thought would be very difficult, but I ended up getting grades on the music video assignments overall. So, I think my decision is working alone on this assignment. 

I also think that working by myself allows for me to decide when I would like to work on the final task assignment. I might also ask my mom and my brother to help with recording and giving me advice. Working on the final assignment alone allows for me to oversee the project and make sure it runs smoothly. If I were to work in a group, I wouldn't want for my group mates to hold me back in the assignment. All in All, I think that doing the project by myself allows for me to have the most control over my project as possible and allows me to make sure the different parts of my assignment is turned in on time.

I could've chosen to work with other people on this assignment, but I would have to rely on other people to get their part of the assignment done on time. Other than that, I would also have to be able to figure out when they would be available for recording. Also, I don't know too many people in class who would want to work with me. If I did find a person who would want to work with me, I would still want to work alone because I feel like I would do a better job in making sure my work gets done. It would be better If I can remain in control of my project.

I think working by myself will benefit me in the long run because I can control the way the project ends up. I can also make sure I turn in my projects on time without a group mate or partner. Also I can make a better decision in what my opening film should look like. I won't need to wait for my group mates to submit their parts of the assignment. In the end, working alone on this project will make me feel more in control and be able to finish my assignments at my own pace.
