After thoughts/ Reflection

When I first started this project, I thought the kind of software I planned on using was Imovie. I wanted to chose I movie because it was simple to use. Also, I have used I movie for making and editing youtube videos.  In the end I chose to use capcut to edit and make my video. I found out about Capcut from my teacher Ms Marchionne. Once I started to use it I realized that the app is very versatile. Capcut has a lot of different music, transitions, and backgrounds to choose from.

When I started on this project, I learned that putting together a video that was supposed to be a minute long was hard. This commercial was supposed to include 2 videos, 2 songs and 3 pictures. Getting the pictures in the video was easy because I just had to insert text that explained what the picture was. To insert the videos was harder because the videos I chose were very long and would make my commercial too long. Same thing that happened with my songs, they were also too long for the commercial. Also, choosing which transitions to use was hard because there was to many choices. The text font was hard to pick the one i like and find the same one again because there was a whole list to scroll through before I would find it again.

I think one thing I can do better with the next project is that I can find someway for my commercial to be shorter. I also think that I could have chosen shorter videos that I liked so my video would be in the expected timeframe of the assignment. I could make the project better by making sure that I get the Blogs due ahead of time, so I won't have to rush on them. On the blogs next time I'll remember to choose the required amount of media for the project and not to include too much media. Next time when I do a project like this one I won't wait till the last minute to record and edit the video. I might also try to see if there are any other softwares I can use to edit before starting to record my next project.
