Research/planning

 I will chose 3 pictures, 3 videos and 3 songs for this commercial. I plan on finding all of my pictures and videos from my photo gallery. I will probably find some songs I like from my spotify. I could also find other songs I enjoy listening to from youtube. I could also find the rest of my videos from youtube as well.


I have decided on 3 pictures, A picture of one both of my dogs Barry and Sky, A picture of My favorite Pokemon Jirachi, and my favorite line of toys to collect: Transformers. I chose a picture of my 2 dogs, Barry and Sky because other than my pet turtle, these 2 dogs are very important pets to me. I decided on a picture of my favorite Pokemon because I like the game a lot and this is my favorite Pokemon from the Pokemon games and shows. Lastly, I chose a picture of Bumblebee from transformers because he is one of my favorite transformers to be made by hasbro. I could have chosen different pictures to represent myself but I think these will represent the kind of person I am.

I have also decided on 3 videos: A video of a robot  dog moving around in a demonstration, A video of my first time in a helicopter,  and a video of lion dancing at my Chinese school that i volunteer at. I chose robot dog video because I like the future/futuristic technology and I thought the robot dog looks cool when it is moving around. A video of my first helicopter flight/ride was one one of the 3 videos that I chose because my first ride in a helicopter was exhilarating and I had a good view of the glaciers in Alaska. Also, the last video that I chose was a video 
about Lion dance rehearsal that happened at my Chinese school.

The 3 songs I chose included: A Million dreams, When can I see you again, I'm a good person. The first song I chose was chosen because I practiced singing this song a lot back when I was in middle school Chorus Class and I like to sing this song often to practice singing. When can I see you again is a song I recently rediscovered is a nice inspiring song about the future and friendship. I chose this last song, I'm a good person, because it was made by an influential Youtuber that taught me different animation skills and makes me want to become better in animation one day. This Youtuber goes by the name TheOdd1sout and I find his song about being a good person funny because in the song he is bragging about how good of a person he is but his friend in the song tells him that good people don't Brag.

Filming Blog: first Recording session

 I decided to start recording some scenes after I got off from work, which was at night. I chose night time to record because I thought it fit better with the genre of my film. After work once I got home, I started to prepare to record by getting my costume and props ready. I dressed In an orange shirt and blue jeans for the main character I would be portraying for the first few scenes. The prop that I used was a flashlight because of most of the scenes happening at night.  On the night of Saturday, feb 10 I got my mom to help me set up for filming. I got my clothes and my prop ready to record, but some problems arose when filming. Me and my mom had a little bit of communication issues. For example, when she was filming me,  and I asked her to film an over the shoulder shot and when we filmed it it didn't look right the first time. Planningfor my music video(Music video)

 The song that I'm using is called: "Gotta Catch them all" by Jason Paige Props I might use might be a pokeball, along with some plushies or my dogs to represent pokemon. Along with binoculars. My costume will include a gray hoodie, grey shirt, Black gloves, Blue jeans, Black shoes or Blue shoes, A white or Navy Hat. My schedule for recording might consist of some days from Oct 15-25 and Preparation for this will probably happen before Oct 15. Editing might happen on days close to Nov 1. The location of the Video will consist of Areas near/close to my house or in my house.  The Backup plan for if anything goes wrong- 1. Don't panic, 2. If i can't record with my phone I'll ask my mom to borrow hers, 3. Title Research: Watch the Titles Website

 I am researching this website because it has many different choices for opening sequences to research for good titles. This website is also good to research video games and tv shows. This website also shows different creators of films on the website. It has a tab for studios that create these films as well that lists them from A-z in alphabetical order. There is also a search tab on the top of the website to help users find what they're searching for.  This website also shows student projects, for example the dark knight rises, Sirens of titan and Motherless Brooklyn. This website also shows feature film titles like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. some exaples of video games on this website include:Gods of war and killzone. Overall this website has a lot of options for me to go through when looking for title examples. There should be plenty of examples to choose from for this title research and base my opening sequence off of.
