Filming Blog: Planning for first recording session

On Febuary 10, friday I was planning for the recording I was going to do with my mom during the night. This recording was for my opening sequence of my thriller movie. I already had my storyboard completed before planning to record the first few scenes of the opening sequence. I planned on using it as a guide for what I was going to record. I was planning in my head how I would schedule the different things I have to do throughout the day.

Once Saturday started I was dreading to record the first third of my recording, because I thought I'd look bad. To be honest I was worrying about this all week til Friday. On Friday Feb 9, I was thinking about recording the opening sequence the next day after work with my mom at night. I would've asked my brother but he has other things to do. After planning when on Saturday I was going to record I, needed to figure out what clothes/costumes I would wear.

For Saturday night, while recording the I decided the main character would wear a orange shirt and blue jeans. This would have been what the main character would be wearing when filming, in other words what I would wear. I also had to decide what props I wanted to add to my opening sequence. So far on Saturday I only decided to use a flashlight for that night of recording. I didn't decide to use other props because the first six clips didn't require them.

On Saturday, I already planned for the clips to take place at night because my opening sequence takes place at night. I did kind of regret not picking a different genre to make an opening sequence about though. Picking a different Genre would have probably allowed for my recording schedule to be more flexible. Although, I chose this genre, which made recording difficult I decided this is just a project I need to finish. Finishing this project with every part of it finished is my goal for this project.
