Script For CCR Video (Nathan) “Hello Brandt I would like to ask you a few questions about your film project”     (Brandt) Ok, what would you like to know?   ( Nathan ) How does your film  use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?   (Brandt) One way my product challenged conventions is by presenting  my movie in a portrait format instead of a landscape format like most films. My film used conventions by including violence at the end of the video when the secondary characte r (The hooded figure) knocks out the main character (Jack) with a shovel . Another time when my film uses convention is when the diegetic sound in the film is silent in the background of the film to create an eerie feeling. Also, the hooded figure stands above Jack speaking to him with authority as Jack cowers in fear . Re-edit blog: Editing transitions, credits and soundtrack

 After I re-recorded some scenes for my final task video because I needed to correct my mistakes when recording a few of them. My mom helped point out what mistakes I made in different parts of my video. My mom was a good judge for this video because she doesn't know what it really is about. This makes it so that my mom would not be a factor of bias. I still needed to edit my video some more to make it look better. The Opening sequence takes place at night. Since the film happens at night, I have to prepare to record at night on the weekends when I have free time. My Opening sequence for my final task is about a person named Jack and a hooded figure. Jack wears an orange shirt and blue jeans and The hooded figure wears a Raincoat and green pants. Jack uses a flashlight as a prop and the hooded figure uses a shovel as a prop in the film.  My mom has helped me a lot with this project and has helped me record clips for my final task video. I allowed my mom to peer review my final task video, which I worked on for a long time. I was working on this project for about 3-4 months with my mom assisting me to help with recording. I asked my mom to help me peer review this project because she didn't know anything about it which meant she wouldn't be a factor of bias. She helped to point out some mistakes I made in my Final task video. These mistakes that I made were minor but still needed to be fixed. The Opening sequence takes place at night. Peer Review Blog: Strengths, weaknesses, and critiques

 I finally chose someone to peer review my Final task video, which I have been working on for a while. I chose my mom to help critique my final task video. I asked her to critique it because she didn't know anything about the assignment so she wouldn't be a factor of bias. She said she wouldn't mind watching my video to point out some strengths and weaknesses. She was going to critique me on parts of my video that I should fix and what I did good on. Music Blog: deciding on song and music

 I've been spending the last few months finishing my final task assignment, which was to make an opening sequence for a movie. I am the only actor in this opening sequence because I am working almost completely alone. My mom is helping me with the filming of the video because I couldn't find anybody else more capable. My characters are The Hooded man(antagonist) and Jack(protagonist). Jack wears an orange shirt and Blue jeans while The Hooded man wears a Raincoat and green pants. Also, The Hooded figure uses a shovel as a prop, and Jack uses a flashlight for part of the film. The filming process took about 3-4 months to finish. Our filming date would have always been sometime during the weekend when my mom and I aren't that busy with work or homework. Since, this film took place at night these recording sessions had to happen at night which made scheduling for a time to film a little difficult. Editing blog: Editing first few videos

I have started to edit the videos for my opening sequence together after I got the 2/3 of the videos I needed for my opening sequence. All of these videos were filmed at night with the assistance of my mom. I would usually plan to record these on a Saturday, or if not Saturday then a Sunday. All of these videos for my opening sequence are going to be added to an album. I am going to use Capcut to edit my videos together and add music. My opening sequence has two characters: Jack and The hooded figure. The hooded figure wears a raincoat and green pants and Jack wears a orange shirt and blue jeans. Jack uses a flashlight and the hooded figure uses a shovel. I am going to be Jack and the hooded figure because I am working on this project mostly alone. My mom is helping me record these video clips for the opening sequence. I'll also have to choose some music to choose for my opening sequence.
